Lovly topic, i have follow it on rpf, and mepd as well.
I´m still in for two full suits in the first run (as i have pm a while back): 1 Stormtrooper + 1 Sandtrooper.
Can´t wait to get it home

Yer look at my jet packs and ohh BTW can you see an Original ANH stormtrooper helmet in the background of my dusty old workshop with a small looking helmet next to it.

The white helmet seems to have a wide face like the gino lids?

Maybe it's the low res or the colour difference, mm I don't know..

the teeth look shorter, too - hard to tell from a small pic like that, but it might be suffering from some of the same problems the TE cast had...

It is one of our Prototypes in ABS, we're still refining our technique and its not the greatest of pulls but it gives you an idea of where we're up to. Come the end of April I'll be able to dedicate myself to this full time.

Cool Si - I guess we are just so impatient that even a small pic like that will be taken apart :D

It's a nice little teaser, But there's no point showing anymore than that, the pull isn't the best it could be and there's no point in posting high res picture of a helmet I'm not happy with. We are now weeks away as apposed to months away from having it available.

You must know we are an anal bunch over here ,and glad to know that you are looking for the same quality and accuracy.

Things that stand out are as FB said,the width of face.
R2Dan the short teeth.
The short cap forehead.

But like you said if thats only the start point of your pulls then the final should be spot on.Thanks for poping over for the update.

Thanks for your patience here guys. We have been working hard behind the scenes on the project as a whole. We don't want to post the helmet pics till we are 100% happy as we don't want to lead discussions in the wrong direction. I hope you can appreciate this.

We are more than happy with the pulls that have been achieved and what we have learned in the process. We acknowledge that you guys, like ourselves, want to see the original copied as closely as possible, this is a different story to creating "A" trooper helmet, so that, in addition to the high value of the original have been the main issues to overcome. We are really happy with the level of detail captured and we are confident that our helmets (and armour) will offer something new. We have had some great input from guys who are members here which has helped to confirm what we had discovered and push us further along in the right direction.

The project has taken some big leaps forward, even in recent days. We are getting ready to move to the next phase, so I hope you will be as happy as we are when we reach that finishing post.
