| That is some great thinking, Si!
I guess I misread that... did you mean "decals in a hand painted look" or were you thinking about actually hand painting all the traps and tears?

Like I've said we want to keep the price competitive so that fans can buy from us, we're hoping that buy keeping it competitive this will discourage recasting. We need aa like button!

Personally I'm not a fan of stickers on helmets they just make it look cheap. what i should have said it will be hand painted where there would be decals.

| Awesome, exactly what I think about decals for ANH! I guess you can already tell how exited we all are to see pics from first test pulls. And please consider offering kits as well. I totally respect if you choose not to, but that would be killer! | |

| Hi Si,
Could you clarify the chinese whispers about the lids you will or have made. The news is that you are making Hero helmets out of your molds. This i believe is something 99% of the members here would not give a second look at as it would be far removed from what everyone is looking for,A pure unaltered one on one cast of your original helmet.
The prop communty has access to many watered down copys of the two helmets that were cast over in the states some years back and as time goes by the story and history has been very distorted.A wonderful opportunity had been mist by the makers of these said lids as they to changed and played with their molds.
Please do nothing other than cast and pull from the molds without changing cleaning up anything. This is what a very many in this community have been waiting for and this feeling of getting something so close to an original helmet with all its short commings is fantastic.
If it was a Hero lid then we would all want a Hero cast,As it is a stunt then this is exactly what we would want,a Stunt nothing more nothing less.
So put our minds at rest mate.

| Personally I would preferr 0.060 Gauge (1.5mm) 1mm is too thin in my opinion. | |

| Yes but details are sharper with 1mm. And too thin maybe for HIPS, but for ABS it should do the job... | |

| 1mm ABS is in no way too thin, at least not for my taste. Very flexible yet sturdy! | |
