| I have one of the lids from the very first run - not bad at all if you're into ROTJ. I'll soon have more to say about the armour, too [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| I think i will get one of the helmets to add to the collection. I prefer this lid to the TE style.. The armour would be ok on a display - but alas im too big to fit in it.
But on the plus side the plastic looks nice and white, i guess shinny too. But i think we need to see a few suits built to get a better idea..
Hobby iron anyone??? | |

| I believe the suit is offered in kit form. There is no White trim for the torso offered at this time, plus you would be getting two of the same for-arms and shins. These will fit badly. I believe also that the plastic offered is a buisuit colour ABS not crisp white, but it has a gloss finish. The HIPS version is crisp white and also gloss. This is a great project for CFO and wish them lots of luck, but can not see myself going down the ROTJ road any time soon. The kit needs the correct fitting arm and shin first.I would consider a helmet for my collection. The parts are nice and crisp with all the ROTJ detail pressent. As a stormtrooper costume it will be a little off the beaten parth as 99% of troopers we see go for ANH or ESB ,so this would make a nice change to see. I would like to build one just to tick it off my list of have done.

| Talking about the arms Pete - I have never liked the wierd tour suit parts added to the TE2 suits and would of asked for them to be doubled up just like AP and the new CFO armour is anyways. I aggree that the love for Jedi armour is nowhere near the same level as that for ANH but they are growing in popularity and they are offering something new and unique. I will definately have to see this and have a play before setting my opinions in stone | |

| January 2011
Round about £600 plus shipping for a full kit.
helmet only £190 plus shipping
Armour only £475 plus shipping.
These prices are for the ABS kit as i feel you would be waiting your time with the britle HIPs version.

| Hi fellas
The ABS is quite a crisp white with a slight hint of biscuit as used in the ROTJ. It is the closest that we could find to my original ABS ROTJ helmet. It is bright white in natural light and a more creamy colour in artificial light. Acrylic capped ABS was not around when the film was made.
We decided not to sculpt a second shin and forearm yet as it would then be a fan sculpt like the TM. We may do some new sculpts at a later date.
FYI the second helmet picture is of my first run in a non accurate ABS and is not from this recent run.
The helmet is much more accurate than the TE ROTJ in my opinion, and is as accurate as we can get it.
All armour can be tweaked to be more accurate, which we will do with each run.

| Thanks for putting use in the picture Joe i was hoping you would pop along to full in the blanks. So is there to be a drive towards the ABS version rather than the gloss hips,or did you cut your teeth with the hips just to get a feel for the mould/pull process? | |

| Hi Pete
Great forum, and awesome idea!
All the above pictures are in ABS. we did some HIPS as well, but are going to move towards ABS only as there is no point in HIPS really other than it being a bit cheaper.

I can second that! But as for the lids, It does have a great biscuit colour that after a little weathering looks killer... Mine has been a great addition to my collection due to the lineage. Nice build Mark!

| Mark, we are getting there but need to generate some more sales in order to progress further. I need to get my build finished and get Pete's build thread under way. I'm hoping after people see the armour complete they will see how great it is......... | |
