| Nothing wrong with appliance white mate, and i will use that on my next lid build , and iam sure the red primer will be the one that i used to use on my old ford escort weel arches . and i will use this method on a more accuratte lid , hint hint Simon, TM used the appliance white on my 1mm lid and i luv it , just want to test other gloss white paints out , plus i did ask Pete about a paint that did not need primer so the white would stick to the HDPE after giving it a light sanddown with wet and dry . Keep you posted guys , god only knows i need all your invabable infomation | |

| I noticed on the inside of Simons Origanal ANH helmet that the primer is like a pinkey colour , so i really need a colour close to that as a primer to replicate it i think the red would be to red ? do you think this was the case on all lids , maybe the red just faded to pink ? | |

| Steve,Do you really think the helmets were pink inside, really ?
Red primmer, with white over spray = soft red final colour. | |

| Ahh i see with the white over spray thats what makes the softer red ok its alright Pete having a blonde day today , what i will be doing also is putting a few paint runs on the lid i noticed you did this with your 1mm TM Pete , and used glue any perticular type ? and would it be ok to put on the HDPE ?

| Sweet! Are the eyes on a GINO a lot smaller than the screen used eyes? They need the flashing to be screen accurate to some helmets but they look a little small.... | |

| Hi Joe, Do you know what i was thinking the same my self today about the eyes , I know the Gino V3 helmet is a touch smaller than my TM lids overall , will have to get some compations shots and measurements , i did the measaurments for the eyes againts my 1mm TM helmet and they come out the same as the Gino , so i can only think its the flashing thats making them look smaller , i know TM lid is fan sculpt , what i will do is contact Simon to find out what the measurements are on the eyes of his origanal helmet | |

| Did you ever get round to comparing the sizes of the eyes? With me being in need of t-track and him having a sale on I'm quite tempted. | |

| Hi Sam, yes i did take the mesaurements of the tm eyes and the Gino eyes and they are the same but leavig that extra flashing in there dose make the gino eyes look smaller , i hope this helps Sam , right this weekend got to get more pics up nearly completed the v3 now fine detaling done , just chin strap to do and fix green gel lens oh and a final polish | |
