| hey guys i would like to get your take on my HDPE helmet.i will be posting picks of how it came and see what you guys think.. here are some pics, i got it assembled and it looks as if there is a thumb push by the right ear close the base of the helmet.what would be a good way to repair or cover that up????it is pushed outward so it should be ok? thank you, ~rob | |

| That's one of the sharper hdpe lids ive seen..
I would leave the accident thumb print alone. After paint and detailing it may be less apparent.

| Looks like a Gino V3 to me. I'd leave it alone as Mark said. And good luck! | |

| doesn't look like a Gino lid to me - more like a TE HDPE really. Soft ears, next to no bumps, yet sharp traps on the Cap'n'back... weird lid! | |

| I think i have to agree with Dan , dose not look a V GINA to me , i think if it was a V3 G. it would still have the ripples and bumps in the back cap. | |

| They do but they're not shaped like that or at least they weren't in 2007-2008. I think the only lids with tear details shaped like that are the Gino V3 and maybe Laws. Very confused but a very nice helmet. | |

| One of the first TE HDPE. Those were sharper than the last and had the tear bump (before he removed them from the molds... or made a new set of molds by recasting, who knows ) The color of the HDPE also changed with the time. Beige à the beginning, and finally dark grey and light grey for the last series. | |

Yes mate your right Gino added the tear detail on the new v3 and half the cost of the kit i think he felt intimated when the Simon helmet went on offer , anyway anoth about that T...ER , sorry to go of topic look forward to this build

| Teeth look great and remember every helmet was different, no two so far have been the same so it is totally subjective especially with regards to trimming.
The one definite is there are no definites!
