| Subject: What to use for dying black chelsea boots white? Mon Jan 03, 2011 11:31 pm | |
| When it comes to going the extra mile on making your Stormtrooper costume as accurate as you can, you will most likely be buying a pair of black chelsea boots to paint white - just as they did back in the day for Star Wars. You have two options really, using spray paint or shoe dye. And there can be two types of shoe dye. One that comes with a seperate brush and one self contained style. Ive completed 2 pairs of boots using white #1 shoe dye by Tarrago. I decided to use this brand of white shoe dye, widely available on the internet. Tarrago Self-Shine Color Dye and preparer. It comes with everything you need, colour dye, preparer, a little brush and a small sponge. And of course instructions. | |
