SE-14R

One of my favourite sw items is the SE-14R, although it didnt make it in the final film we do see the promo trooper with one

I love the SE-14r, everything about this weapon is just right, it’s stylish, it’s simple and unfussy, and looks like it means business.



Here’s my Bad Boy.









For those who may not know, here’s some back ground on this wonderful blaster.

The base for the SE-14 is the Rexim Favor SMG which as an intriguing background when you start to look in to it.

It was reportedly designed in France and the plans were supposedly stolen by a female spy with the outcome

of a 1000 of these being manufactured by a Spanish Arsenal that were finally delivered to the Rexim company in Switzerland.







Although the Promo Stormtrooper version was never seen on screen we do get a glimpse of an alternative version in the

guise of Dr.Evazan’s dual scoped model.

The man we need to thank for his design and influence on the SE-14r and most of the weapons that we see in ANH is Rodger Christian.

His cannibalistic approach to prop and set design as followed him with a majority of the films that he was involved with. So it wasn’t

too surprising to see him using the good ol’ Rexim Favor again when he worked on Alien for Ridley Scott























Whatever way you look at it, this is just a fantastic weapon, fullstop…….I frigging LOVE IT!!! 8)

This has definitely crept onto my wish list of late. Very cool side arm.

Word has it, Shawn Morgan is making a more accurate version of his SE-14R kit.

This is my MKI, I use it with the AT-AT Driver ('cos it looks silly if you go out without a blaster )

I never really considered this as an option but the more i see it the more i like it.

Does anyone have a clear picture of what scope mounts were used on the promotrooper SE-14R?

In the pictures above where the Rexim Favor is used on Alien it's pretty clear which mounts were used, but I'm not convinced that standard tasco mounts were used on the SW version of the gun.
