| Could you guys tell me.. If i've got the DLT, do i still have to wear a holster??? If so, do i have the E11 holstered-up??? I cant seem to find any screen-grabs, or remember seeing troopers i know wearing a holster whilst trooping. | |

Here's some pic's of it when I first got it, pre-weathered and pimped
Hi there old friend. Your DLT-19 looks good, but i still see a few mistakes. 1. The end of the gun grip, theres a flat mistake over it, maybe it can be trim off. 2. There are missing details left and right side of the feeder box area. 3. The side sight on the barrel, are missing some details going up, here its just flat out. 4. The barrel seems a bit too small vs. the gun/house. 5. In the start of the bipod left/right, there should be a big screw detail, but there is not here. 6. Looks like a lot of the ww2 marks are not there either. Hhmmm what to do, maybe i just modify my sci-fire DLt even more to get it accurate. Maybe drill the holes a bit deeper etc. Cheers, and thanks for posting

| Can't really help much but...
As far as I know only the Mk.2 is still available to order at £140.
With the fibreglass it would be stronger but this is generally done inside a resin cast rather than outside. In the write up on Doopydoos it says it is an entirely polyurethane cast so no FG. The black is simply paint on top of the PU.

| HHhhhhmmm i just saw this new pics on the MEPD, its Gian´s DD DLT-19. He´s small modify parts looks great i think, plus here i can see all the sharp details, ww2 marks etc. I think i will have to get one my self now Check it out: One quick question: The gun loader hand grip, are this also modify on, or are it there as a part of the DD gun. Cheers | |

| The cocking handle comes with the DD DLT-19 from what I've understood and it is removable for easier storage. | |

| I think there are already three versions of the DD gun. This is based on what I have personally seen.
MK1: no drilled holes, not too many markings or "text" on the gun. MK2: (the one I have) drilled holes, sharper details, clearer/more markings. MK3: (a garrison mate has this, I pimped it for him) fewer parts (safety lever missing?), but even more markings/text. also is missing the "grip detail" that Rolf mentioned, that big rectangular disc (that was the ring holding the leather strap - I removed that on my MK2.
Clearly, for the MK3, a different real machine gun was cast. I had my MK2 and the MK3 side by side and lots of small details and markings were differnet between them. This is all just personal theory, mind you, I never asked the DoopyDoos guys.
But I stand by this: the DD MG34s are all a great base and can be turned into something awesome with just a few modifications! I'll snap more pics of mine in the near future.
Also, I made a PDF that shows all the mods done to my DD MG34, in comparison how it looked before. Can I somehow share that here?

| Great info bro. Thanks for the pdf look, looks top cool. So what version is the best you would say, the MK2 or MK3. Sounds like they are cast from two different MG-34, and have different goods to them. Do you know if the only make the MK3 now, or also the MK2 etc. Cheers | |

| To my knowledge, they now only sell the latest version of the cast missing the safety selector switch and without the strange, rectangular detail under the grip. It sure is nice, but I prefer the version I have, with the safety switch. Maybe ask the DoopyDoos staff why they changed the master mould or if different version might be for sale on demand? You never know! | |

| Copy that.
I will try to ask for the safety selector switch.
What is the/area: rectangular detail under the grip.
Two questions: 1. Its not too heavy for trooping right, around 3 kilos or so. 2. How fragile is it, do i have to be super safe when troop whit it, or is it ok solid, as long as i don´t cast it around me, and drooping it.

| I only troop with mine in big open areas to avoid hitting anyone else. They are solid but I have never dropped it, there are little marks on it from general knocks while trooping but I could touch them up if needed | |

I wouldn't recommend dropping it - one Garrison mate broke his only by carrying it (it broke exactly on the spot where it unscrews), but he is the only guy of about 5-6 DoopyDoos owners I know who had this problem. Seems to have been a production error or something. Mine never had any real breaking issues so far. The "rectangular disc" is that thing under the grip on the MK2: I removed mine and shaped it like the small eyelet seen here:

| Thanks bro, i might sounds panic a like about the resin issue. But i guess forums are made for talks, so better ask twice then be sorry. I was thinking it was that gun grip area, now i know for sure. You modify cut off looks spot on nice bro. I think i will try to order one from them + the full E-11 kit at 39,99 pounds as well from DD | |

| Rolf, I can't speak for the E-11 resin gun they sell, but if it is the same quality like the DLT-19 it can hardly be that bad, especially not for that price. My DLT-19 fell twice after leaning it against walls when I needed both hands while trooping and nothing serious happened. I had a small detail break off but actually found that tiny piece and glued it back on, so no harm done. But seriously, it's mostly resin AFAIK, so don't risk too much. | |

| Pete has made some nice E-11 builds with their kit and Graham is working on the latest kit somewhere. | |

I love the hyper firm, but i... in a way... think they look too toy a like. Like one big rubber stick. No holes drill out, and moving parts, details add on etc, and i don´t like that. So the cheaper DD might be the one for me now, and if a better DLT-19 turns up. I can all ways sell it, and have not spend much cash on it. Hugs

I will try to find the topic. I think there kit looks great, love the drill out pipe etc. Are it hard to bend the scope metal holder. Maybe i can get Pete to do one for me, together whit the strapping metal holders for the SI-MAN suit coming
