Hello from EOTK

I just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. I joined the LSD board a few weeks ago after my buddy, Ripcode, showed me the site. I must admit that I was a bit starstruck by some of the names on here.

I'm still relatively new to the hobby, though I've had a long-time interest in TKs. Late 2009, I was doing some programming on a project that used the Flickr API. Naturally, that turned into an image search on Stormtroopers, and I stumbled upon Stukatrooper's fantastic 2008 TM build set. Until that point, I was really in the dark as to what a build entailed.

Early 2010, I attended a sporting event where my local garrison was trooping. I hadn't seen armor in person before, and soon after that I started helping out at events. After some intense research, I purchased a set of RT-Mod armor, though I'm just getting into the actual build of it now. I'm hoping to be as accurate I can be, given the fact that it's a fan-sculpted kit and I'm really way too tall to be a stormtrooper (just under 187 cm).

After I complete my trooping armor, I would really like to get a TM kit to build something more SA. I'm thinking that it would be a mannequin build to go in my home office. Anyway, you have an impressive resource here! I promise to keep the signal to noise ratio low...

Hi Eric First off welcome to the L.S.D

The RT Mod suit is a great start point in your TK journey .RT was my first propper suit.For a tall guy like yourself , this is just perfect and Rob (RT-Mod) is great with help along the way.

It is really nice to have new faces and a great little story behind them. Welcome. Smile
