Thermal detonator

This will take you through building one of the Stormtroopers most basic accessories,the thermal detonator.The Example will show the TM (troopermaster) kit.

First off your kit.



Bend two strips of aluminium .I just did this by hand as its a soft metal.
Once the strips are bent to shape mark out the position mine worked out to 20mm in from the edge.



Once happy with the position drill two holes ready for the rivets.



You can see that i have used two washers on the inside.This is to stop the rivets pulling through the plastic pipe.





Use your heat gun Toolbox section to heat the cap ends .This will help them slip over the pipe.



Next up is the detail part which is glued on with E6000



Bottom view of detonator just to give you an idea of spacings.
